I tried some things, short the wrong wires and added a starve knob, the whole thing is not as clean sounding as it could be, but it makes noises and I love it. Here's some pictures and a short movie with my first impressions on it:

the sega wacky sound system II
..I built a 'wacky sound generator' from music from outer space inside a 'sega master system II' casing, which is a lot of fun!

mayakovsky, part 1
Yesterday we did a try-out of our Mayakovsky performance, it will be performed in full during the opening of "two sides of a story" .
I recite a poem by Mayakovsky in Dutch to Koen de Wit playing clarinet. The laptop running max/msp feeds us back the performance, cut-up, reversed, scrambled nonsense, slowly fading to a recording of Mayakovsky reciting the same poem in Russian almost a century ago. While we perform a stop motion sequence by Sabine Bolk is synched using jitter.

circuit bent rapmaster
I got hold of a casio rapmen, it has a pitch shifter, which is the reason I wanted bend one. Here are some pictures of the process:

marconi room
"Marchese Guglielmo Marconi ( 25 April 1874 – 20 July 1937) was an Italian inventor, best known for his development of a radio telegraph system, which served as the foundation for the establishment of numerous affiliated companies worldwide."
It is also the name of an evening with live electro acoustics and visuals the 24th of April.
..besides the liveset, I will release "nothing large, but all things for little". A six track album, I have been recording and mixing for the past six months, featuring electronics by myself, guitars and pedals by Samir Boureghda and clarinet by Koen de Wit. The album will be a custom hand made psysical format, more details after the release!
I hope to see some of you there...

studio update
My new studio is up and running, currently I am working on the acoustics, refurbishing my panels, designing bass traps, new curtains..
I am mixing a lot, circuit bending rapmans, writing new material and my new ep is ready to get released on the 24th of april.
I am preparing some new software and will be improvising with Koen de Wit in the near future, to be continued..
On the 9th of april On Fire is rocking The Rambler in Eindhoven with
Prevail Within and Rising Tide , I've got no flyer, but here is all the info you'll need! See you there..
